My second green boat is finally finished.  I sold my first green boat called "Memories of a Green Boat"  at Christ Church in Charlotte.  A couple of friends asked me to paint another one.  This one is 24" x 30" on a gallery wrapped canvas.  I spent some extra time doing the lake ripples with a palette knife.  This scene was Lake Heffley in British Columbia at a family reunion.  I named this second Painting "Vintage Boat".  It was a very old boat inherited by my sister-in-law.  We both love that old fishing boat and had lots of laughs pulling it around the dock to get it in just the right position for photos.
SOLD

Now working on my third green boat.  Giclees are available to purchase.

Green Boat Memories

Green Boat Memories
30" x 40"
Oil on gallery wrapped canvas
$600

I mentioned this boat in another blog post.  My sister-in-law and I had fun untying this boat and positioning it so I could draw it and take photos of it.  It was very funny to see and what a challenge.

Unfinished boat

I'm working on this painting which is 30" x 40".  The label on this old boat says "Harber Craft"  Fort Erie Ontario now called King Fisher Boats.  Maybe that is a clue of how old the boat is.
