Art in the Garden

A busy weekend for artists.  Country Day School Art Sale ended on Saturday.  The Art in the Garden was Saturday and Sunday.  Twelve artists were picked for six gardens in the Charlotte area.  The People Choice winner just stepped out so the photo shows eleven of us.  We thought we took enough photos of Judy with her awards. (Loved your painting, Judy Meyler.) We painted in glorious gardens in the sun with blowing pollen on Saturday and Sunday undercover from the rain.  This wasn't extreme painting but it did have some challenges.

Mint Garden Club "Art in the Garden Tour"

These two paintings and more will be for sale at  the "Art in the Garden Tour".  Visit me tomorrow from 10 to 4 at 1508 Dilworth Road.  Photo below of the Dilworth garden.  It is one of eight gardens on the tour.  I will be there  also on Sunday  from 1 pm to 3 pm.  See you at the reception at 4:00 pm on Sunday when 16 artists will be selling their artwork.   Mint Museum on Randolph.
