Colors of Pawley's Island

Happy New Year to all.  I ended my marsh series last month but I could not resist doing another one to enter into the WPSE show coming up in a few days.  This palette knife painting was done on a 10" x 10" gallery wrapped canvas.  Tomorrow I will start 30 days of painting along with others painter to put on Leslie Saeta's blog.  I wish everyone a wonderful 2013.

Marsh Painting 2

This is a painting of the same photo from Pawley's Island.  I used oils and alcohol ink.  Not good to mix together but I kept them in separate places.  Some alcohol ink in the sky and in the water of the marsh.  The alcohol ink makes very intense color.
