I'm posting this painting again because my husband got a new phone and the camera is so much better than mine.  I also changed the name to City of Dreams.  It's whatever city your think it is.  I had one in mind when I painted it.

Day 27 "Bottom of the Sea"

Day 27
30 Paintings and 30 Days
"Bottom of the Sea"
8" x 10"
oil on canvas panel
$95
The Bay of Fundy is known for the largest tidal range in the world.  When the tidal goes out the ocean floor is full of beautiful colored rocks and fossils.  Instead of walking on a sandy beach, you are walking on fossils.  You really feel like you are walking on the bottom of the ocean.

Yesterday I painted this red boat in a fishing village scene.  Today with a different angle and up close and personal, I painted it as the main subject.  I sold a similar view of this boat in November at Christ Church in Charlotte.
