"Nestled In"

"Nestled In"
24" x 24"
oil on gallery wrapped canvas
This will be for sale at Christ Church on Providence Road starting December 3rd.  Can be purchased at the Good Will Shop.

On a vacation in the Spring my husband and I drove from Boise, Idaho to Sisters, Oregon.  The landscape along the way was gorgeous.   I have never seen a barn with a blue roof before we drove by this one.  It was such a picturesque sight.  I name this oil painting "Nestled In" because the flat farm land was surrounded by beautiful mountains.

Day 21 "Mountain Barn"

Day 21
"Mountain Barn"
8" x 8"
Oil on canvas panel

This painting is to continue my barn series.  This was a bright red bard and looked almost new except for the aged tin roof.  Another imaged captured on the way to the North Carolina Mountains.

Favorite painting of 2013

Sometimes I think that my favorite painting is the one I just finished.  I put a lot of effort in this one and a lot of love.  I started this painting when I return from my thirty day trip to the West.  This is a painting of Mount Moran in the Grant Tetons National Park.
