Yesterday I painted this red boat in a fishing village scene.  Today with a different angle and up close and personal, I painted it as the main subject.  I sold a similar view of this boat in November at Christ Church in Charlotte.

A quaint fishing village in Nova Scotia.  It wasn't as quiet as it looks because it was filled with tourist everywhere but this scene.  The water was so blue and it must be a dream to live here in the summer and fall.  As a daily painting this had a lot of details and took me longer than I thought.  Tomorrow I'm painting just the little red fishing boat.

My first painting after my beautiful cruise with the TWA Silver Wings to New England and Canada.

The air was clear and crisp and the colors vibrant.  This boat was in Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia.
