This photograph was taken several years ago in Copenhagen.  I was on a business trip with my husband to attend a Christening of a new ship built by Maersk.  Tomorrow I will post a collage of all thirty paintings.  Let me know which is your favorite.

"Another Red Door" Day 29

30 Paintings in 30 Days
Day 29
"Another Red Door"
8" x 6"
oil on canvas panel

I enjoyed painting this ancient door.  I'm not sure if it is from Italy or Provence.  It is another photograph that  my friend Judy sent me.  Now I am looking for the ultimate door for my last day.

"Red Door" Day 12

30 Paintings in 30 days
Day 12
"Red Door"
8" x 6"
oil on canvas panel
$100

I love this red door.  In the photograph is was mahogany.  I think I would like this painting with or without the blue bike.  Because of the bike parked outside the red door, you wonder why the blue bike was parked there.  Inside those doors, is it someone's home or a tourist destination.
