I have painted this scene before and sold it.  I keep being drawn it.  I even made giclees of it.  This is an 8" x 8" and I also painted  one that is 6" x 6".

I've spent two glorious days at home painting.  Only a few chores to take care and the rest of the time painting.  This afternoon I will be framing some of these paintings to take to sell at the beach.

This photo reference has lots of color in the sky and reflections in the ebbing water on the beach.  For me, this is the best time of day to walk on the beach.

Thanksgiving sunset at Debordieu Beach in South Carolina.  For this painting I let the background show through and used a brush only.  The clouds added extra dimension to this sunset.
