This painting was done with Galkyd Lite and oil paint. I painted many layers of transparent paint and Galkyd Lite medium. I have been wanting to paint jellyfish for years but did not know how to proceed. The glazing technique was the right medium to show the transparency of these beautiful creatures. Now that I have completed this in a 18" x 24", I want to try this same subject much larger.
