I painted this 10" x 8" last week on a linen panel. I have also painted a 30" x 24" of this scene of the ride through the Redwood forest in Santa Cruz on the Roaring Camp Railroad. The light magically filters through the leaves of the redwoods and creates wonderful shadows.
