"The Dragon Snaps"

I hope everyone had a wonderful fourth of July. This painting was the result of my fourth. My family bought some fireworks. Even though I love the rockets, the dragon snaps are the most fun. I threw a few snaps at a small canvas panel. Not much happened until we lit three boxes of dragon snaps,  The background was painted red orange. The black part are from the snaps. I used a triad of cadmium yellow, cerulean blue, and viridian green to complete the painting.
