A few years ago I did a green bowl and fruit series. It was based on the bowls that I received when I went to the "Empty Bowl" luncheon for the Second Food Harvest Food Bank each year. Clay Works Pottery donate these beautiful bowls for this worthy cause. The empty bowl is to remind us that there are many people around our own city of Charlotte that have little or nothing to eat.
