Have you ever been to the produce department at the grocery store and have a piece of fruit call out to you?  This sassy pear did.  It was sitting right on top with a long slender stem and a beautiful touch on gold on it.  The thing about pears are that they are such a good subject. They come in lots of sizes, shapes, and colors.  Combine that with any color background and you have a fun painting.  You could say that I love pears.
