About a mile from my house is Four Mile Creek Green-way. Most of Charlotte was saved from Hurricane Florence as it turned into a Tropical storm by the time is arrived here. We were so grateful that we didn't have flooding, power outage, or any trees uprooted. The above photo is from the Green-way this morning. It floods at times at its low points. The water had receded by Monday but look how high it rose. They talk about flash flooding this is what they mean. See the muddy waterline above my hand? I pray for all they were not so lucky during Hurricane Florence.
