Beautiful weather at the Biltmore Estate and the azaleas were almost at their peak. We like to park at Antler Village and walk the three miles to the house, take a quick tour of the house, tour the garden and walk the three miles back. I hope to turn some of photos into oil paintings.
Biltmore House
Biltmore House was a collaborative effort between George Vanderbilt, architect Richard Morris Hunt, and landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. Completed in 1895, the home contains over four acres of floor space, including 35 bedrooms, 45 bathrooms, and 65 fireplaces.
