Highlights from my driving vacation.

This was an exciting vacation with visiting battlegrounds, one of the seven natural wonders of the world, and walking Boston's Freedom trail.  We visited friends in Cape Cod and left before a tornado hit.  We had to evacuate our hotel in the Berkshires because a microwave caught on fire (over cooked potato).  We saw a truck trailer on fire with nothing left but the frame.  Our first stop was Gettysburg, then Boston, then Plymouth Rock, and a few days with friends in Harwich Port in Cape Cod.  After that a stop in the Berkshire and a visit to the Norman Rockwell Museum which was celebrating 50 since the last Evening Post was issued
.  A walk down memories lane of 1969.  The Canadian side of Niagara Falls did not disappoint with the Hornblower boat trip under the Falls and dinner in the rotating restaurant of the Skylon Tower.  The last two days of the trip was stopping at the Greenbriar Resort in West Virginia and visiting the Monroe Historical Society.
