TWA Hotel

I was a TWA flight attendant and we have conventions every year through out the U.S.  This year was special because we stayed at the TWA Hotel.  We were all very sad when TWA closed it doors and our beloved terminal sat dormant since 2001.  A little history of the terminal.  The wing shaped terminal was created by architect, Eero Saarinen and sponsored by Howard Hugh.  It was made for the jet age of flying.  MCR turned it into hotel.  The terminal is where you check-in now. It also restaurants, and bars.  They built wings for the hotel with runway views or terminal views.  This project cost 300 million dollars.  This is an architect's dream building and a time capsule of the 1960's.
Enjoy the photos and let me know what you think.
